How would the name 'Peter', pronouced, 'pee-ter', or 'Pee-ta', be written in Sanskrit?

पईतऋ ("Peet'r") - paeetR


here R is a vowel 'r', a retroflex sound. You can use it to represent english 'r' but i would use 'र्'.
